The Zoo

Jared was able to get the weekend off and on Saturday we spent the afternoon at the Oregon Zoo with my parents and Heather, Kylee, and Preston. We parked at Ikea and took the Max there because we thought the kids would enjoy the train ride.

Faith really enjoyed spending time with her new cousins. Cayden had fun too, but we had to constantly keep after him to keep him with the group. He would see an animal and run off to get a closer look. He still doesn't understand why doing that isn't safe. I wish we would have brought his backpack with the leash on it, but didn't think of it until we were already there. He was still pretty good though. It was so much fun seeing the joy and excitement in their faces.

They LOVED the water! They could have stayed there all day. It would have been nice if it had been warmer.

Brenna spent half the time sleeping. Her routine was really messed up this weekend.

We look forward to having many more fun times at the zoo. We bought a family pass so we can take the kids whenever we want a fun family outing. They are excited for our next visit.
