We spent the last part of our summer vacation down in Medford visiting my husband's family. We spent one night with his sister and then we all went to Medford where Jared's parents live. It has been one and a half years since we were there last. It was nice being all together again, but it was a full house! My sis-in-law had all nine kids there. Her son, Ammon, was turning 12 there were so many people there for the party. It was fun.
Some of the things we did:
Faith went ice skating with some of her cousin.
Swim
Celebrate Ammon's birthday
Go to the mall
Play pool
Meet Melissa's (Jared's cousin) new baby, Ella
Play "Ticket to Ride"
I made medals and ribbon wands for my Olympic sing time
We planned on going to the temple while there, but it was closed. We were also supposed to have a date night with his sister, but we couldn't get Cayden to bed in time to see the movie. He slept on the ride down there and wasn't tired at bedtime. We really enjoyed our visit. We are hoping that we will be able to spend Thanksgiving with them. We will have to wait and see what Jared's schedule will be.

Faith realized she isn't afraid of cats. Now she wants one just like Savage. She still talks about how she missed him. I'm glad that she has overcome another fear of hers. This really was a huge step for her. The day before, we could hardly calm her down because the cat came near her.
Brenna loved the slide in the play land at the mall.

I love your new layout! The colors are so soothing. Nice job. I hope you guys get to spend Thanksgiving with the Skinners. Not that I don't WANT to be with you but because I know how much time you've lost getting to see them. Keep it in prayer.
Its great that you had fun its cute Cayden trying to play pool emma did the same last year she was so funny,we wish we were there to share it with all of yous,im looking forward to our next visit will be wonderful to spend time with everyone and this time we are planning on staying longer this time
