We love having Brenna as part of our family. She keeps us smiling and she is so easy going. Our main thing with her right now is keeping her off the counters and table. She can now climb on our bar stools and thinks it is the funnest thing. There is no longer a "Brenna Free" space for Faith and Cayden to play their games. They either have to wait until she is asleep or play in one of their rooms. Sometimes they will move all the chairs away from the table so that Brenna can't climb up.
Brenna still isn't talking much. "Ma" is what she uses most. She also says "apple", ball, and bath. This month she has started talking gibberish and walks around babbling. She has also started to try and imitate sounds. Mostly, she just grunts. Although she isn't speaking very much, she is signing. She knows 60+ signs. I started using Baby Signing Time DVDs when she turned one. She just LOVES them. We have two DVDs and she's getting vol.3 for Christmas.
Some signs Brenna knows:
help, eat, drink, cheese, cracker, milk, juice, water, cereal, apple, banana, cookie, candy, ice cream, finished, more, coat, hat, shoes, socks, pajamas, sleep, awake, pacifier, bed, blanket, bath, shower, potty, diaper, wash hands, soap, brush teeth, baby, book, ball, dog, cat, horse, fish, frog, bird, bear, car, bus, boat, airplane, train, bike, grandma, grandpa, mom, dad, hurt, where, sorry, thank you, please, Jesus, happy
Brenna had her well child exam yesterday. She is 21lbs 14.4oz and 31.25 in.

That's why you were able to tell me her exact height and weight! She is so adorable! I can't wait until the next time I can see her. Definitely puts a smile on her face. And as for the cookies, I used the chocolate chips you're talking about. The recipe on the back of the bag calls for semi-sweet but we don't like semi sweet so I made them with milk chocolate. Is that the difference?
Its so fun that they grow but so Tiring at the same time.
