My sister's visit- Part1: Multnomah Falls & Games

My sister, Samara, and her husband, Scott, flew out from Utah to visit last week. They were married last August and this was the first time we've seen them since the wedding. I was excited to spend some time with them and get to know Scott better. I picked them up from the airport on Wednesday and we headed out to Mutlnomah Falls.

We weren't planning on going to my parents with Scott and Samara because of Jared's work schedule, but it was changed at the last minute allowing us to visit the Coast with them. I immediately thanked Heavenly Father for that tender mercy! When Jared got off work, we headed down to Waldport. It was such a pretty drive. We took our favorite route through Lincoln City so Scott could see more of the ocean. We also like driving past the park where we were married.

We met my mom at work and had dinner with her. She finished up the labs she was doing and we all headed down to my grandma's house. My parents moved in with her back in June so my mom could help take care of the things my grandma is having trouble with now. After visiting with everyone for awhile and playing games, we headed over to our motel to put the kids to bed. We were in a small suite and the kids had their own room, so we could play games without worry about waking them up. Samara, Scott, and my mom came over and we played "Ticket to Ride- Europe". It was such a fun game. We are looking forward to when we get to play again. Jared's birthday is this week and he is hoping to get the game now.
