Pride Night

Last night was Pride Night at Faith's school. Her class has been learning about communities and have done some fun projects. They have been learning about what makes up a community and the type of jobs that are in the communities. Her class really enjoyed building their own community in their room. They did a great job and really got creative with their buildings. They had the train, a bus, airport, schools, fire station, police, vet, stores, resturants, movie theater, and so much more. They also interviewed and had to make a poster of a job within the community. Faith interviewed Jared and got to learn a little bit more about what he does at work.
We didn't stay very long because I had a stake primary leadership meeting that I needed to be at going on at the same time. We went to the school a little bit early so we could go in the classroom when they opened the doors and get done before it got too crowded. We spent about 15min there and then hurried home so I wouldn't miss too much of the meeting. Jared took the kids for ice cream because we didn't have time to get some at the school. We get to back to the school in a couple of weeks for their carnival. The kids are looking forward to that.

Faith made the veternarian.

The work Faith had on display.

Cayden wanted his picture taken, but was upset that he didn't get a balloon with a sucker.

Faith with her poster. She was a little upset that we were going to be leaving so soon.
