Last night for Family Home Evening, we tried making strawberry freezer jam and strawberry shortcake. We used frozen strawberries and we'll find out tonight if it sets up the way it's suppose to. Faith and Cayden really enjoyed mashing them up. Next time we make jam, I will have the berries in separate bowls for them to smash so they don't complain about their spoons touching each other. They did really good taking turns pouring the ingredients in. We had a lot of fun and especially enjoyed eating the strawberry shortcakes! We used fresh strawberries with them. Brenna loved the strawberries too.
