We were lucky to be able to spend some time with my parents and Grandma the weekend before Easter. We were happy that they decided to come visit so soon after returning from their two week adventure in California. For the kids, a visit from Grandma & Grandpa means they get to go swimming! It's the first thing they ask about.
Brenna had SO much in the pool this time. As soon as we walked down the hall, she points to the pool and kept saying "pool". I didn't even know that she knew the word! She liked floating on her back and especially loved jumping in. As soon as she would jump to us, she would sign "again" and point back to the wall. We all got a kick out of her delight!
We also had a "Grandparent's Easter Celebration". My parents had baskets for the kids and did and egg hunt for them. It was Brenna's first time hunting for eggs and she had no problem catching on. Her brother and sister were very helpful.
My mom brought her beads with her and she and Faith made necklaces. They even made one to match Faith's Easter dress. We really enjoyed the time that we were able to spend with them...it never seems long enough.
